ther is a catholic church in the CD? do you mean Immaculate Conception? here we go again, lol, i think of that as Squire Park, but really it is pretty "CD"

Its on 18th, and that's the only catholic church i can think of.. I actually used to attend from time to time several years back... it's a predominately african-american congregation... pretty rare for a catholic church!

but, yeah, i went to a zydeco dance there once... pretty good music, dance lessons AND they actually sold beer (god bless catholicism, the religion that says "hey, jesus drank alcohol, and if it's good enough for jesus, it's good enough for me!" lol)

but the atmosphere is severely lacking, the participants mostly lackluster... just a lot of standing around like when you went to your jr high school dances... let's put it this way, i wasn't inspired enough to ever go to another dance there

but yeah, its very possible they had a hip hop dance... most catholic churches have youth socials like that nowadays
